As a personal project, I developed a first-person shooter set in the universe of the Metroid Prime series. This game, built using Unreal Engine 5.1, explores the impact of additional traversal options on the established formula of the Prime series. One unique mechanic introduced is the pilotable grappling hook, which allows players to navigate the environment in new and exciting ways. By leveraging this grappling hook mechanic, players could experience a fresh take on exploration and movement within the Metroid Prime universe.
